This special journey has been thoughtfully designed for the international guests of Saad and Mahnoor’s wedding, offering an inspiring introduction to the natural beauty and cultural heritage of northern Pakistan. Beginning in Islamabad, the country’s capital set against the Margalla Hills, the tour gradually moves north into regions shaped by ancient civilizations, historic trade routes, and some of the world’s most dramatic mountain landscapes.
Traveling through the lush Kaghan Valley to Naran and onward across the high Babusar Pass, guests enter Gilgit Baltistan, where the mighty Karakoram Highway follows the path of the old Silk Route. Along the way, travelers witness the meeting point of the Himalaya, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush ranges and enjoy views of Nanga Parbat, one of the highest mountains on Earth. The journey continues into Hunza Valley, a former princely state known for its welcoming people, centuries old forts, glaciers, and legendary mountain scenery.
The final part of the journey leads to Skardu, the cultural heart of Baltistan and gateway to the great peaks of the Karakoram. Surrounded by glacial rivers, desert landscapes, and serene lakes, Skardu and the nearby Khaplu Valley reflect a rich blend of Tibetan and Central Asian influences. The tour concludes here with the wedding celebrations of Saad and Mahnoor, allowing guests to experience Pakistan’s history, landscapes, and hospitality before returning home with lasting memories.
