Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Islamabad (No Cycling Day)

Upon your arrival in the capital, our guide or driver will meet you at the airport and assist you with the hotel check-in process. Since most international flights arrive in Islamabad in the early morning, to circumvent early check-in charges, our guide/driver will take you for sightseeing before facilitating the check-in at the hotel.

Day 2 - Islamabad – Naran 270 Kms (cycling 40-80 kms, 1425m)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will commence our journey towards Naran on Hazara motorway in the bus, we will continue the drive to Balakot via Mansera, joining the Kunhar River at Balakot at an altitude of 975m you will start biking towards Naran, Naran is 80 Kms from Balakot and is at altitude of 2400 m. Upon arrival in Naran, we will transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3 - Naran – Chilas – Gilgit 260 Kms (cycling 120 Kms 1800)

After an early breakfast, start the biking journey towards Babusar Pass at 4200 meters. Today’s biking route will commence at an elevation of 2400 meters, ascending by 1800 meters. The distance to Babusar Top spans 65 kilometers. Once Babusar Top is crossed, the descent to Chilas will begin, reaching an altitude of 1265 meters, followed by an ascent of 2935 meters. Upon arrival in Chilas, we will take a bus to Gilgit, which is approximately another 140 kilometers. Arrive and transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Gilgit – Hunza 110 Km (cycling 110 Kms, 900m)

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic biking adventure. Our journey will take us from an elevation of 1500 meters to 2400 meters, offering breathtaking views throughout. Today’s highlight includes cycling beneath the majestic Rakaposhi peak, towering at 7788 meters and often referred to as the ‘queen of the mountains.’ En route, we’ll catch glimpses of the historic Silk Road, and upon reaching Nasirabad bridge, we’ll transition from Nagar to the                  Hunza side. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our hotel for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay, soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. Day 5 - Explore Hunza (cycling about 25 Kms 600m)

Commence your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel. Today’s adventure promises an exhilarating biking journey from Karimabad in Hunza to Hooper Village in Nagar Valley, spanning approximately 25 kilometers with an ascent of about 600 meters. Revel in the scenic beauty as you make your way to Hooper Village, where the awe- inspiring Hooper Glacier awaits.

After soaking in the natural wonders, return to Karimabad by bus for a relaxing continuation of your exploration. In the afternoon, delve into the rich history by visiting the iconic Baltit Fort and experience the lively ambiance of Karimabad Bazaar. Wrap up your day with a delectable dinner and enjoy a restful overnight stay at the hotel, cherishing the memories of this thrilling and picturesque adventure

Day 6 - Hunza – Sost 86 Kms (cycling 86 Kms 400m)

Indulge in a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an
exhilarating cycling journey to Sost, covering an impressive distance of approximately 86 kilometers at an altitude of 2800 meters. Today’s route offers a breathtaking spectacle as you weave through Attabad Lake, Gulmit Village, and Hussaini Village. Take in the awe-inspiring scenery and pedal alongside the majestic Passu Cones Peaks, also known as Passu Cathedrals.

Upon arriving in Sost, transfer to the hotel for a well-deserved dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. Take time to reflect on the day’s incredible experiences and the breathtaking landscapes encountered during this memorable adventure. The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure, allowing you to prepare for the upcoming challenging ride to Khunjerab Pass the next day

Day 7 - Sost – Khunjerab Pass – Passu (cycling 94 Kms 1900m)

Today marks the pinnacle of our journey, a challenging ride that stands
as the highlight of the tour. After a hearty breakfast, we embark on a cycling expedition towards Khunjerab Pass, situated at an elevation of 4700 meters, involving an ascent of 1900 meters. The initial 38 kilometers bring us to the entrance of Khunjerab National Park, where a passport check is conducted at the checkpoint. Continuing our ride, the last 17 kilometers pose a formidable challenge, especially beyond the Koksal Check Post, as the road ascends sharply in a zigzag pattern.

Upon reaching Khunjerab Pass, we make a brief stop to capture the stunning scenery with photographs. Following the tour, we return to Passu by bus, with the bikes securely transported. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for a well-deserved dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, reflecting on the accomplishment of conquering Khunjerab Pass.

Day 8 - Visit Borit Lake and hike to Passu Glacier (No cycling day)

After a leisurely breakfast, today’s adventure involves a hike from Passu
to the Hussaini Bridge. Traverse the Passu Bridge to the opposite side of the Hunza River and continue the hike towards Hussaini Village, a journey that takes approximately 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Hussaini Bridge, prepare for the thrill of crossing one of the most exciting bridges in the region. Following your arrival in Hussaini Village, embark on a drive to Borit Lake, followed by a brief hike to the Passu Glacier viewpoint.

After a day filled with amazing experiences, return to the hotel for a well-deserved dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, relishing the memories of an exhilarating and picturesque day

Day 9 - Passu – Naran 415 Kms ( No cycling day)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today, we embark on a scenic journey
back to Naran, passing through Hunza, Gilgit, Chilas, and Babusar Pass. Along the way, we’ll make several stops for photographs, capturing the breathtaking landscapes. The crossing of Babusar Top from the Chilas side adds to the scenic beauty of the route. Upon reaching Naran, transfer to the hotel for a comforting dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 - Naran – Islamabad 270 kms (No cycling day)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a drive to Islamabad. Upon arrival, indulge in sightseeing around Islamabad, exploring notable attractions such as Faisal Mosque, Margalla Hills for a bird’s-eye view of the city, and later, the Monument. Tonight’s dinner will be served at a local restaurant. After dinner, transfer to the hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Day 11 - Transfer to Islamabad airport

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your homeward-bound flight
