Detail

K2, the second-highest peak in the world after Mount Everest, located on the border between Pakistan and China. It is a challenging and remote area to reach, but the breathtaking views of K2 and the surrounding peaks make the journey worth it for many.

The Gondogoro La Pass is a high mountain pass located near K2 in the Karakoram Range. It connects the Hushe Valley in Pakistan with the Skardu Valley and is one of the highest mountain passes in the world, reaching an elevation of 5,582 meters (18,307 feet). Crossing the Gondogoro La Pass requires a high level of physical fitness and mountaineering skills, as the route is steep and snowy.

In summary, the K2 Base Camp and the Gondogoro La Pass are two challenging but rewarding destinations for those interested in mountain trekking and climbing in the Karakoram Range of the Himalayas.
