This tour takes you to two of the most beautiful and pristine mountain landscapes in the world: Fairy Meadows and the Nanga Parbat Basecamp.

Fairy Meadows is a small, idyllic meadow located at the foot of the towering Nanga Parbat (8126m), the killer mountain. This lush and verdant meadow is surrounded by dense forests, crystal-clear streams, and towering peaks, and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places on earth.

From Fairy Meadows, you will embark on a trek to the Nanga Parbat Basecamp, which is located at an elevation of 4,500 meters (14,764 feet). The trek to the basecamp is challenging and physically demanding, but the stunning views of the Nanga Parbat and the surrounding peaks make the journey worth it.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Islamabad - Chilas

Early departure for a day long drive to Chilas on Karakoram Highway along the Indus. Overnight at hotel

Day 2 - Chilas – Raikot Bridge – Tattu Village – Fairy Meadows

Breakfast will be served at hotel
After breakfast drive to Raikot Bridge
Changeover of transport at Raikot Bridge for Tattu Village by jeeps which is one of the most thrilling routes in north (1½ Hours 4 X 4 Jeep Drive)
Drive to Tattu Village
Start Trekking from Tattu Village to Fairy Meadows (3/4 Hours Trek)
Arrived at Fairy Meadows
Leisure time for sightseeing and photography
Overnight stay at Fairy Meadows

Day 3 - Nanga Parbat Base Camp Trek

After breakfast a soft trek of two to three hours, walking through the dense pine forest and later through birch trees and along shallow streams, takes us to Beyal, a summer settlement of shepherds with stunning views of Nanga Parbat – 8125m
Reach Beyal Camp
We will make an optional hike to base camp crossing tails of glaciers with well identified track. At base camp, a monument had been erected in the memory of climbers died on the mountain
Scale back to base camp
Overnight stay at Fairy Meadows

 

Day 4 - Fairy Meadows – Tattu Village – Chilas

Breakfast will be served at hotel
Start Trekking from Fairy Meadows to Tattu Village
4WD Jeeps will take Raikot Bridge and after change of transport drive towards Shangrila Hotel Chilas
Overnight stay at hotel in Chilas

Day 5 - Chilas - Islamabad

Breakfast will be served at hotel
After breakfast drive to Islamabad
Arrive at Islamabad
