Itinerary

Day 1Arrival Islamabad

Meeting on arrival, assistance and transfer to your hotel
Debriefing at Dinner time by our expert biker leader

Day 2Islamabad – Timurgarh – 233 kms

We shall depart in the morning by our transport driving up the comfortable road to reach
Timurgarh – on arrival transfer to your hotel
Late afternoon – acquaint yourself with the bike – check to your satisfaction!
Meet the technical team and ask any question regarding your technical journey
A short brief on the road protocols by the leading biker with all pros and cons of the tour.

Day 3Timurgarh – Chitral – 161 kms – (asphalt with few bits of dirt track)

This is the beginning of your adventure – our mountain day starts in the morning biking up the road with first views of countryside biking through the local roadside markets till we reach Dir – we shall be making some breaking or resting stops. After Dir town a brief refreshing stop, start the climb up through Lowari Pass – 3118m – we shall bike through
the tunnel at the top, arriving at a wonderful view across with Hindukush mountains. This will be a steep biking on asphalt with few bits of bad shingle road. Continue to Chitral as soon as we arrive we shall see the dominating Tirich Mir Peak 7708m. arrival and transfer to your hotel

Day 4Chitral – Bomburet – Chitral – 60 kms (short asphalt most dirt track)

We shall be making a biking excursion to Kalash Valley of Bomburet – experience the first dirt travel with some bad patches. On arrival – we shall park the bikes and take short hikes in the valley visiting the Kalash ethnic community – this is wonderful opportunity to see an ancient tribe living with their own culture and traditions – interact with local folks bike back to your hotel in the late afternoon with wonderful views of the beautiful valley.

Day 5Chitral – Booni – 91 kms (dirt track)

Depart for yet another interesting day on dirt track with several photogenic stops.
On arrival before entering the tour – we shall take an off the road trip to Kaglasht meadows the grazing ground of animals but a wonderful views of the surrounding mountains – Tirich Mir (7708m) highest of Hindukush mountain range and Boonizom peak (6542m) highest of Hindu Raj the intermediate mountain range stands towering above town of Booni. Later drive down and continue to Booni town – arrival and transfer to Guest House

Day 6Booni – Mastuj – Shandur Pass – Phandar – 120 kms (dirt drack)

A wonderful and exciting day of biking – today we shall drive through Mastuj town and drive up the dirt track often with some bad and stony paths on the road. Bike up the large village of Laspur – from here we shall start a steep climb to reach Shandur Pass (3738m) this a bit of stony path but not difficult. On arrival at the top after a short stay and enjoying the views we bike down across into Phandar valley. This is our first day of camping by the riverside – enjoy the views and the country-side

Day 7 Phandar – Yasin Valley – Gilgit – 225 kms (dirt after Gupis asphalt)

Morning start for the Gilgit but we shall take a side trip to Yasin Valley – a wonderful scenic experience – later continue to Gilgit and on arrival transfer to hotel. Our technical team will get through for a general check-up

Day 8Gilgit – Hunza(Karimabad) – Gulmit – 150 kms (asphalt Karakoram Highway (KKH)

Morning depart in the morning for Hunza – we shall bike on the highway with wonderful views of surrounding peaks once we enter into the main Hunza valley. The village of Karimabad is perched on hill we make a short detour to Baltit and Altit villages.
Later continue to Gulmit – short stop at Atabad Lake – on arrival transfer to hotel

Day 9Gulmit – Khunjerab Pass – Gulmit – 150 kms (asphalt KKH)

Today we shall bike up to Pakistan-China border point at Khunjerab Top (4693m)
This is an easy drive to the foot of Khunjerab Pass but gradually steep up to the top of the pass – there ae some washout parts of the road but generally good. Enjoy wonderful views of the valleys biking past the villages. After short stay get your breath back on the top and return downwards with a slow speed.

April-mid May could meet bad road due snow slips – could road washouts

Day 10Gulmit – Chilas – 260 kms (asphalt KKH)

Morning depart for Chilas – we shall retrace our journey back till Gilgit and later drive along the river joining Indus river continue down stream to reach Chilas. There are several photogenic stops enroute. On arrival transfer to hotel

Day 11Chilas – Babusar Pass – Naran – 115 kms (asphalt)

Morning depart for Kaghan valley – we shall climb up to Babusar pass(4173m) as we head for Babusar village we shall start a steep climb. On reaching the top it is gradual slope downward with beautiful views of the valley. On arrival transfer to hotel

Day 12Naran – Islamabad – 281 kms (asphalt)

Early start for Islamabad – we shall be making short stops enroute – the beautiful Kaghan Valley. On arrival transfer to hotel
